OVERVIEW
This CBS action-adventure series is a modern-day treasure hunt spanning the globe. Filming in Morocco was extensive, using diverse locations to double for Egypt and other Middle Eastern settings. The production relied on a “constant motion” philosophy, moving the unit rapidly between cities to capture the scope of the adventure.
CHALLENGES & APPROACH
The Logistics of a “Traveling Circus”.
Unlike shows based on a soundstage, Blood & Treasure lived on the road. The challenge was managing the finances of a highly mobile unit—setting up vendor accounts and cash distribution in a new city every few days (Marrakech, Tangier, Ouarzazate). My role was to ensure that the “money followed the crew,” preventing any logistical lag as the production hopped from one location to the next.
THE RESULT
The series delivered a high-gloss, cinematic adventure look. We successfully managed the complex travel logistics, proving that we could support a “globe-trotting” narrative without breaking the budget on travel costs.
