OVERVIEW
Starring Academy Award winner Colin Firth, this prestige limited series dramatizes the 1988 Lockerbie bombing and one father’s search for justice. Filmed in Morocco in 2024, the production required transforming local cities into 1980s Libya (Tripoli). It demanded absolute historical accuracy to respect the gravity of the real-world events.
CHALLENGES & APPROACH
Recreating History & Managing Sensitivity.
Unlike fictional action movies, this project required a “journalistic” attention to detail. The challenge was logistical and artistic: sourcing period-accurate vehicles, costumes, and props to recreate the specific look of Colonel Gaddafi’s Libya. My role was to support the art department’s massive requirements financially while managing the high-security protocols inherent to a production dealing with such sensitive geopolitical themes.
THE RESULT
The series is set to be a major television event. We successfully delivered a convincing, immersive historical setting, proving our ability to handle complex, character-driven dramas with the same expertise as action blockbusters.
